Colonia Il Profumo is a modern and more intense interpretation of the Maison's very first fragrance, the iconic Colonia, launched in 1916. Colonia Il Profumo combines the golden radiance of the Italian sun with a sophisticated blend of ylang-ylang and patchouli, which accentuates and enhances the citrus notes throughout the fragrance. The top note consists of an exquisite blend of bergamot, grapefruit, blood orange, and petitgrain, which initially exudes a fresh, sparkling scent that appeals to the senses. At the heart of Colonia Il Profumo are the aromatic appeal of rosemary, the richness, intensity, and opulence of ylang-ylang, and the unique note of orange blossom. Ylang-ylang was specifically chosen for its multidimensional notes, which sublimate the golden fruits and their presence throughout the fragrance, lending modernity and richness to a timeless icon.
