After cleansing, apply 1-2 pumps to the skin, avoiding the eye area, and then use a moisturizer as usual. To prevent future signs of aging, daily sun protection of at least SPF 15 is essential. In addition, care should be taken to ensure that the skin is not exposed to more sun than necessary during the period of application. Extreme weather conditions such as wind or cold can irritate the skin more, so the skin should be protected accordingly. Important: Clinique Smart Clinical Repair™ Wrinkle Correcting Serum should not be combined with other products containing retinol.

Clinique Smart Clinical Repair™ Wrinkle Correcting Serum has been formulated to be particularly effective and safe. However, the tolerability of retinoid formulas can vary. Especially when first using retinol/retinoids, slight redness, a warm, tingling sensation, or flaking (skin peeling) may occur. These symptoms are normal and temporary signs that the formula is working. If the symptoms become increasingly uncomfortable, the product should only be used every other day until the skin has become accustomed to it.

For added comfort, please note the following: We recommend using a mild cleanser such as Clinique Extra Gentle Cleansing Foam. Reduce the use of exfoliants and, if you are already using Clinique Clarifying Lotion, switch to Clarifying Lotion 1.0, which has a milder formula. For extra care, we recommend using an additional moisturizer such as Clinique Moisture Surge 100H Auto-Replenishing Hydrator.
