Inspired by the memory of the very special scent of his mother's lipstick when she kissed him, Ralf Schwieger created Lipstick Rose. Born in Germany, Ralph Schwieger has childhood memories of the scent of forests, moss, and wood. A trained chemist, he joined Roure Bertrand Dupont at the age of 30. His technical skills, which were already well developed at that time, enabled him to translate his ideas into fragrance compositions. He describes his craft as a "construction game," which he approaches half intellectually, half intuitively. After a mentally demanding conceptual phase, a lengthy phase of sensual exploration begins. His highly structured signature and his desire to create perfumes that stand out from the crowd give Schwieger's work a very personal touch.
