Bright and lush, mysterious and provocative – Synthetic Nature is a stylized landscape in Technicolor green. Synthetic Nature is an ode to the cult fragrances of the 1970s and offers a modern vision of nature – reinterpreted. Flipo retained the opulent basil of the original composition, along with a newly composed bouquet of hyacinth, of the valley, natural jasmine, and ylang-ylang oil. To modernize and sharpen the composition, she added synthetic blackcurrant and styralyl acetate, sending the bouquet through a shiny, sparkling filter. Flipo simplified the chypre and leather notes, resulting in a clearer, sleeker accord. Finally, she added patchouli.
