Description
Molecule 01 + Patchouli consists of Iso E Super + Patchouli.
Iso E Super is an abstract synthetic molecule characterized by a cedarwood note with a warm, velvety cocooning feeling.
Patchouli is a natural extract from the leaves of the patchouli plant.
Geza Schoen: "Patchouli is a unique natural product. Unlike 99% of perfume ingredients, we associate it with a specific time, with the sixties and seventies and that bohemian spirit. It has a cool, rather distant woodiness. I love it for its moody beauty.
I used two qualities of patchouli here. The largest chunk is Patchouli Coeur, a very pure, soft patchouli oil fraction with the camphor-like top note removed. I also added a patchouli oil from Indonesia to round it off with a little top note.
The result is a refined, clean patchouli that harmonizes fantastically well with Molecule 01.
