Kilian Hennessy presents The Liquors, a new fragrance family that pays tribute to his heritage as heir to the renowned French cognac family, and his exquisite olfactory intoxicants that propel the night towards dawn. Angel's Share is Kilian Hennessy's first collaboration with French perfumer Benoit Lapouza and Kilian's most personal fragrance creation to date. It is inspired by the expertise of the Hennessy family, eighth-generation cognac producers. The perfume delves deep into the founder's profound memories and his most mysterious dimension: "la part des anges" (the angels' share). Similar to a master perfumer who composes accords and essences in a perfume, a master blender combines eaux de vie in perfect proportions to create an exceptional cognac. Angels' Share contains the essence of cognac, which is extracted from brandy, giving it a natural caramel color. The fragrance opens with cognac oil, followed by a blend of oak absolue, cinnamon essence, and tonka bean absolue. The long-lasting notes of sandalwood, praline, and vanilla give it a delicious finish—a precious composition, as if made for angels.
