The perfume of a dreamlike reality
For this new creation, neither the duo nor the creative osmosis between Marc-Antoine Barrois and Quentin Bisch has changed, but the goal is different.
The two fellow artists have created an elegant and unexpected harmony of mandarin, violet, strawflower, and suede, dreaming of this new planet:
Ganymede, Jupiter's rocky satellite, discovered by Galileo in 1610. It glows and is covered with saltwater oceans. The name comes from Greek mythology: a young man, Ganymede, was abducted by gods who were so taken with his beauty that they offered him immortality.
Ganymede once again makes use of the suede notes that made B683 a beautiful classic.
This time, however, the artists have freed themselves from traditional standards to lead us in a different direction, full of luminous and flowing elegance.
The leather notes become softer in combination with the scent of violets, gaining lightness and delicacy.
The mandarin scent brings liveliness and an acidic essence. This sets the verticality of this fragrance right from the start.
In contrast, the strawflower provides a contrast and enhances the harmony of the fragrance with its sometimes mineral, sometimes salty scent. The entire composition plays with contrasts and opposites.
