The new fragrance for women and men pays homage to a sailing adventure that Olivier Creed experienced in the company of a royal couple and his son near Ginger Island, an uninhabited dream island in the British Virgin Islands.

As Olivier Creed sailed through the deep blue Sir Francis Drake Channel with his son and two royal guests in 2006, the winds of the Caribbean carried a particularly beguiling variety of scents to him. Seductive coconut, lime, and hibiscus were in the air. While still on the deck of his yacht, he jotted down his first ideas for a new perfume.

When he presented the first bottle of this creation to his royal guests in Paris six months later, they spontaneously christened the composition VIRGIN ISLAND WATER. The top note beguiles with copra essence (the white interior of the coconut). Added to this are sweet palm tree liqueur, Antilles lime, white bergamot, and Sicilian mandarin. The heart note exudes hibiscus blossom, ginger, ylang-ylang, and Indian jasmine. Cane sugar and white rum from the Antilles and musk from Tonkin form the base note.

The classic CREED cap in blue symbolizes the inimitable blue of the Caribbean. The shape of the bottle remains unchanged. A shape that was already favored by Napoleon III and which is the model and distinguishing feature of all Creed perfumes.
