In 1963, two years after opening, Diptyque introduced its first scented candle called Aubépine, which was followed by many others, including Cannelle and Thé. A dazzling start to an extensive repertoire of fragrances, all featuring the legendary black lettering on the renowned oval label.

Diptyque's fragrance repertoire is an ode to nature and exquisite ingredients. Seemingly simple, they are in fact a sophisticated reinvention of nature. Each fragrance expresses a moment, an extraordinary place: a summer field in Provence, a cozy evening at home with the family, a garden in full bloom covered with morning dew. The luxury scented candles are handmade in 12 individual steps. Each candle is given its own unique blend of wax and wick to ensure a consistent fragrance with a burn time of more than 60 hours (190 g candle)/30 hours (70 g candle).
