• Helps protect the scalp
  In scalp protection mode, a distance sensor automatically measures the distance, so that the heat is automatically reduced when the device approaches the hair. The hair dryer then maintains a comfortable target temperature of 55 °C – for gentle drying, even close to the scalp. Scalp protection mode is compatible with the gentle airflow attachment and the styling nozzle.

  The Dyson Hyperdymium™ motor (V9) is fast, lightweight, and compact. It runs at up to 100,000 revolutions per minute and moves 13 liters of air through the device every second.
• Fast, intelligent drying
  Air Multiplier™ technology combines with a powerful motor to create a powerful airflow for fast drying.
• Pauses styling when you do
  The auto-pause function uses a motion sensor that detects when the hair dryer is put down during styling—for example, when you pause to section your hair. The device then automatically deactivates the heating element and reduces the airflow and volume.
• Smart attachments
  The five smart attachments are suitable for different styling needs and hair types. They have pre-programmed airflow and temperature settings that can also be individually adjusted within an optimized range. The device uses a detection sensor to automatically recognize the different attachments as soon as they are attached and switch to the last settings used. The wave and curl diffuser offers two modes. In dome mode, air is directed through the hair for more defined natural waves or curls. Diffuser mode, on the other hand, adds volume at the roots to give natural curls and frizzy hair more structure.
