In the mid-1950s, in northern India, in the Sivaliks at the foothills of the Himalayas, a vision of the avant-garde gave rise to an ideal city: Chandigarh. A union between India and France, where visionary architects such as Kapellmeister designed this modernist utopia ex nihilo in the middle of a tropical jungle.
CHANDIGARH EXPRESS is a journey through worldly traditions and modernity. An immersion in a wide range of exotic colors, textures, and scents: cardamom, davana, jasmine, patchouli, vetiver, and benzoin. The sublimated contrast of an oasis of vegetation and concrete, an imaginative creation with leathery facets.
