Perfumer Christine Nagel has created her first Hermès chypre fragrance, which captivates with its sensuality and rare, unforgettable elegance.
Barénia is a fragrance that gets under your skin, blending strength and gentleness. It expresses the facets of a woman who acts instinctively and captivates those around her. A woman who stops at nothing. It is the epitome of freedom.

THE FRAGRANCE NOTES
The beguiling note of butterfly blends with the delicate scent of wonderberry. The warm scent of oak wood and the intensity of patchouli underscore this unique and attractive composition. Barénia, a symbiotic encounter between skin and perfume.

THE OBJECT
The bottle by Philippe Mouquet is inspired by the Collier de Chien bracelet and highlights the contrast between the gentle curves of the ellipse and the power of the pyramid-shaped rivets with curved facets.

THE HERMÈS DETAIL
In the center of the Barénia fragrance bottle is another rivet, incorporated into the glass, transforming the object into a true piece of jewelry. 

The 100 ml, 60 ml, and 30 ml bottles can be refilled using the separately available 125 ml refill bottle. An environmentally conscious gesture—inseparably linked to an object that was created to last.
