Created in 1961 by perfumer Guy Robert, Calèche is Hermès' first fragrance for women. Its name refers to the elegant and light horse-drawn carriage of the 19th century that is the symbol of Hermès: the calèche.

THE FRAGRANCE NOTES
With its floral aldehyde scent, Calèche Eau de Toilette combines refined aldehyde notes with the fragrant waves of jasmine and light rose in a very feminine composition.

THE OBJECT
The bottle is inspired by the lanterns of horse-drawn carriages of yesteryear, and the black cap is reminiscent of the shape of a riding helmet. The fragrance's affiliation with the Parfums-Fondateurs collection is indicated on the label on the back, which features a motif by Philippe Dumas.
