PHA 5% Exfoliating Lip Serum is a gentle chemical peel for the lips with 5% gluconolactone and 1.5% alpha hydroxy acids, which smooth and hydrate the lips. Gluconolactone is a polyhydroxy acid (PHA) that dissolves the structures that hold dead skin cells together. Due to their larger molecular weight, PHAs act on the skin's surface and provide a mild exfoliation, making them suitable for sensitive skin.

This formulation also contains a high concentration (>50%) of glycerin to improve hydration and retain moisture, as well as ectoine to support the skin barrier and ensure long-term hydration. It also contains black carrot extract, known for its antioxidant properties, which gives the formula a slight pink tint. This plant-based ingredient may cause color variations in the product, ranging from deep pink to pale peach, but this should not affect its effectiveness.

PHA 5% Exfoliating Lip Serum supports skin renewal on the lips to improve their overall appearance and texture over time. It can be applied under Squalane + Amino Acids Lip Balm to gently remove dry, dead skin and moisturize the lips overnight.

Note: You may notice a slightly tart taste when using this product. This is due to the exfoliating acids that help to gently renew and smooth the lips.

Apply a thin layer to clean, dry lips in the evening as needed. Allow the product to absorb. Apply the lip balm several times a day as needed.
