For an optimal fragrance experience, Acqua di Parma recommends:
Do not let the candle burn for more than 1.5 hours at a time. This prevents the flame from becoming too large, smoke from forming, or residue from building up on the rim of the glass.
Use a suitable candle snuffer to extinguish the flame.
Allow the candle to cool completely before relighting it.
After each use, re-center the wick to ensure even burning.
Trim the wick regularly with a wick trimmer to about 5 mm. This prevents the wick from sinking into the wax and reduces smoke.
Keep the liquid wax free of matches and other debris.
Do not continue to use the candle when there is less than 5 mm of wax left in the glass.
Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep away from children, curtains, and pets.
Do not move the candle while it is burning or while the wax is still hot. Wait until the wax has completely hardened.
Do not place the candle on heat-sensitive surfaces, near flammable materials, open windows, or other candles.
