Limited Edition With a rose-colored cap, the iconic Chapeau! candle—shaped like Acqua di Parma’s Art Deco bottle—brings the notes of Luce di Rosa into your space with an unexpected twist.
As a playful nod to Dorothée Meilichzon’s two-in-one Chapeau! candle, the new Luce di Rosa Edition features a rose-colored cap made of glazed stoneware that also serves as a 330-gram candle with a single wick.
The handcrafted porcelain base forms a second candle with five wicks and a weight of 1,600 grams. It retains the clean, minimalist design of its characteristic shape and provides even, generous illumination.
Crafted with the utmost care, the base begins as a so-called “biscuit”—a term for the original, unglazed porcelain that, after shaping and firing, is sanded in a process lasting up to 30 minutes to achieve a smooth surface while still retaining its raw, tactile quality.
This creates an elegant contrast to the lid, which is first glazed and then fired. To ensure the luminosity of the rosé hue, an additional layer of glaze is applied before the second firing, resulting in a glossy, refined finish.
The hand-embossed plaque on each candle is a modern reinterpretation of the iconic Acqua di Parma label, while the manual finishing of the cap and the hand-poured wax underscore the subtle nuance of masterful craftsmanship.
Luce di Rosa is the sublimation of a contemporary, dynamic rose, sculpted by light, balancing mineral sharpness with a chiaroscuro effect. The result is a multifaceted fragrance whose vibrant, clear, and radiant notes evoke a symphony that shifts between piano and forte, adagio and vivace.
