A unique candle designed by Dorothée Meilichzon in the shape of Acqua di Parma's iconic Art Deco bottle, which exudes the scent of Luce di Colonia. The name "Chapeau" (hat) has a sophisticated double meaning: it not only refers to the gesture of tipping one's hat in greeting, but is also a compliment in French.

This Art Deco bottle reveals two candles: The glazed stoneware lid conceals a single-wick candle weighing 330 grams, while the handmade ceramic base of the bottle hides a second 1,600-gram candle, which, thanks to its four wicks, maintains the pure and clear design of its characteristic shape and emits an even and expansive light. This interplay of structures and surfaces not only highlights the technical expertise, but also promises an undeniable visual and tactile fascination. The base, crafted with the utmost care, is first produced using the "biscuit firing" technique, in which unglazed raw ceramic is shaped and hardened in the kiln, then smoothed in a meticulous process lasting up to 30 minutes, thus preserving its original tactile properties. The result is a unique matte surface with a nuanced design. It forms a beautiful contrast to the lid, which is first glazed and then fired. To ensure the vibrancy of the color, another layer of glaze is applied before the piece is fired again. This results in a shiny, elegant-looking surface that perfectly complements the more modest-looking base. The raised, hand-embossed logo on each candle is a modern reinterpretation of Acqua di Parma's distinctive coat of arms. The manual finishing of the lid and the hand-poured wax are testament to precise, modern production combined with the sophistication of handcrafted perfection.

To optimize the fragrance and candle experience, Acqua di Parma recommends:

• Do not burn the candle for longer than 1.5 hours. This prevents the flame from becoming too high, which can cause smoke and soot to form on the sides of the container.
• Use the Acqua di Parma candle snuffer to extinguish the candle.
• Allow the candle to cool completely before relighting it.
• After each use, straighten the wick in the wax so that it burns evenly.
• Trim the wick regularly with an Acqua di Parma wick trimmer (the ideal length is 5 mm for a 330 g candle and 10 mm for a 1,600 g candle). This will prevent the wick from sticking to the wax and prevent smoke from forming.
• Do not allow any contaminants, such as matches, to fall into the wax.
• Stop using the candle when the wax level in the glass is below 5 mm.
• Never leave candles burning unattended. Keep away from children, curtains, and pets.
• Do not move the candle while it is burning or when the wax is still hot. Allow the wax to harden first.
• Only replace the candle lid on the base once the wax of both candles has hardened.
• Do not place the candle on heat-sensitive surfaces, near flammable materials, open windows, or other candles.
