Description
This rare white cocoa grows in the heart of the oldest plantations in Piura in northwestern Peru. The beans are harvested by hand from the pods, fermented, then sun-dried and roasted.
To capture the most beautiful facets of this white cocoa, the perfumer worked with a French maître chocolatier to achieve the perfect roast, revealing sensual nutty and milky notes with an undertone of tonka bean.
After a sweet rum opening, perfumer Marie Hugentobler reveals the addictive bitterness of cocoa, comforted by powdery and woody notes. The drydown features light tobacco, patchouli, and sandalwood notes, giving CACAO PORCELANA its sensual and unique signature.
