Acclaimed perfumer Domitille Michalon-Bertier drew inspiration from travel and the joy of journeying. Discovering new things and the sensual luxury of nature inspired her to create this fragrance. It is embedded in the gentle glow of ambergris and elegant deep green tones. The top note is a distinctive, seductive cinnamon bark, harvested in Sri Lanka during the rainy season from trees carefully selected for their age. The heart is robust—a blend of sustainably grown Indonesian patchouli with a pinch of spicy-sweet vanilla. The base of this oriental delicacy contains a rich aroma of honey-sweet amber and musk, labdanum, and earthy moss. The exotic notes are a subtle nod to the original Dutch settlers of New Amsterdam, who were known for their wanderlust and spice trade.
