1. Starting at the inner corner of the eye, draw a very fine line as close as possible to the lash line. There should be no gap between the lashes and the eyeliner.

2. Continue drawing a thin line two-thirds of the way toward the outer corner of the eye. Thicken the line from this point by moving the pencil slightly upwards and outwards.

3. Instead of following the curve of the eye downwards, continue to draw the line diagonally upwards. At the outer corner of the eye, keep drawing the line outwards and upwards. The line should end 2 mm from the outer corner of the eye.

4. You should always look straight into the mirror. If you look down, you will naturally draw the line downwards.

5. If you don't have much practice creating the feline flick look, I suggest the following: once you have drawn two-thirds of the line along the lash line, mark a dot where you want the line to end. It should be 2 mm above the outer corner of the eye.
