Preparing the room - Place the candle on a flat, heat-resistant surface. - Protect delicate surfaces such as wood or marble by placing the candle on a tray or coaster. - Keep the candle away from flammable materials. - Store the candle out of the reach of children and pets. Lighting the candle - Use a match to avoid the risk of burns. - When burning the candle for the first time, let it burn until the entire wax surface has melted, approximately 4 hours depending on the scent.
