Here are a few tips to maximize its lifespan and ensure safe use.

Preparing the room

• Place your candle on a flat, heat-resistant surface.
• Protect delicate surfaces such as wood or marble with a coaster or tray.
• Keep candles away from flammable materials.
• Store candles out of the reach of children and pets.

Lighting the Candle

• We recommend lighting your candle with a match or a long lighter to avoid burns.
• When lighting the candle for the first time, let it burn until an even layer of liquid wax has formed (about 4 hours, depending on the scent). This prevents a wax tunnel from forming and allows the wick to absorb the wax optimally, ensuring even burning.
• When lighting the candle for the first time, the wick may produce a small amount of smoke.

While the candle is burning

• After lighting the candle for the first time, do not let it burn for more than 4 hours at a time.
• Never leave a burning candle unattended.
• Do not move a burning candle or one that is still hot.
• Keep the candle away from drafts.
• Maintain a minimum distance of 10 cm between candles.

After each use

• Extinguish the flame with a candle snuffer to prevent hot wax from splattering.
• Center the wick as soon as the candle has gone out.
• Before relighting, trim the wick to a length of 3 to 5 mm using a wick trimmer. This promotes even burning and reduces soot buildup.

Important Note

• Stop using your candle as soon as only 5 mm of wax remains or the metal base of the wick becomes visible.

Care & Storage

• We recommend ventilating the room after the candle has burned out.
• Allow the wax to cool completely before moving the candle.
• Store the candle in a dry, temperate place (15 °C to 25 °C) away from direct sunlight to prevent discoloration, changes in pigment, or the wax from peeling off.
