Each Les Mondes de Diptyque candle is an exquisite product that requires special attention.

To enjoy your candle for a long time:

• The first two times you light the candle, let it burn continuously for 5 hours until the entire wax surface has melted. This prevents the wax from forming a hollow around the wick later on.

• It is best to use a candle snuffer to extinguish the candle.

• To ensure that your candle burns evenly, center the wick with the wick trimmer after extinguishing the candle while the wax is still liquid.

• Regularly trim the wick to the ideal length of 3-5 mm with the wick trimmer to prevent the candle from smoking or overheating.

To refill the candle:

• The candle is used up when the wax layer is only 5 mm thick or the wick holder is visible.
• Once the wax has cooled, place the candle in a bowl and fill it halfway up the candle glass with water heated to 60°C. After approx. 2 minutes, the wax will soften.
• Lift the candle out of the water and use a knife with a rounded blade to help you. First slide the blade between the glass and the edge of the wax, then under the wax residue. Lift out the wax residue and dispose of it in the residual waste.
• Clean and dry the inside of the glass with a soft cloth.
• Open the refill pack using the two tabs, remove the new wax block and insert it into the jar.

The candle is ready for use again.
