THE CREATION
Created by Christine Nagel, perfumer at Hermès, the Eau de Toilette Un Jardin à Cythère is a surprising garden that is neither green nor full of flowers – a garden in blonde. It is the expression of an olfactory quest that leads from the Peloponnese to Kythira – an unspoiled Greek island that has inspired numerous artists.

THE FRAGRANCE NOTES
The Eau de Toilette Un Jardin à Cythère is a woody citrus fragrance that combines the enveloping character of grasses with the power of the olive tree and the tenderness of fresh pistachio.

THE OBJECT
The bottle, designed by Fred Rawyler, is inspired by the lanterns of horse-drawn carriages of yesteryear. With its bright yellow gradient, the glass echoes the sunny fragrance. Artist Elias Kafouros painted the packaging with a landscape in the colors of his homeland: golden grasses, green olive trees, pink fresh pistachios, and the blue sea in the background.
