Trait d'Hermès, the collection of color pencils designed by Hermès Beauté Creative Director Gregoris Pyrpylis, opens up a world of possibilities for expressing yourself through your eyes. The pencils can be used to apply colorful accents to the eyelid, either precisely or blended, naturally or sophisticatedly.
THE COLOR
The twenty-four emblematic, surprising, and timeless shades are a chromatic reference to the Hermès store at 24 Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré in Paris.
THE MATERIAL
The eye pencil combines a firm tip with a creamy texture and offers a matte finish. It is easy to apply evenly and draws lines in a single stroke, either precisely or blended for a smudged effect.
THE FORMULA
The formula combines a distinctive sensory quality with intense color pigments and is suitable for sensitive eyes. The pencil can be used just as easily on the eyelid as on the waterline.
THE OBJECT
Designed by Pierre Hardy, the color pencil is reminiscent of show jumping poles and combines white and black lacquered surfaces with brushed metal. Like the colored pencils of childhood, it is made of wood sourced from PEFC*-certified forests and has a smudge tip. Its brushed metal protective cap is decorated with the house's emblematic H.
THE GESTURE
The color can be applied with a single gesture to shape, emphasize, open, and intensify the eyes. The smudge tip of the pencil or the L'Estompeur de Précision eye brush can be used to transform the line into a variety of makeup effects: from fine, graphic, clear or blended lines to broad strokes – on the eyelid as well as on the waterline.
