THE CREATION
The Eau de Toilette Le Jardin de Monsieur Li tells the story of a Chinese garden between reality and fantasy. Created by perfumer Jean-Claude Ellena, this fragrance combines flowers and water, trees and rocks.
THE FRAGRANCE NOTES
The floral-botanical Eau de Toilette Le Jardin de Monsieur Li combines delicate sambac jasmine, delicately tart kumquat, and zesty bergamot to create a harmonious accord.
THE OBJECT
Designed by Fred Rawyler, the bottle is inspired by the lanterns of horse-drawn carriages of yesteryear. With its delicate yellow gradient, the glass of the bottle is a nod to the traditional color of Chinese emperors. On the packaging, artist Li Xin created a river of ink shimmering in countless shades of anthracite.
THE PARFUMS-JARDINS COLLECTION
The Parfums-Jardins collection represents the encounter between the soul of a place, the inspiration of the perfumer, and the theme that Hermès chooses each year for its creations. It is an olfactory journey that fulfills all desires and longings: the longing for freshness, for reverie, and for escape from everyday life.
"I remembered the scent of the water basins, the scent of jasmine, the scent of wet stones, plum trees, kumquats, and giant bamboo. Nothing was missing, even the carp in the pond took their time to reach at least 100 years of age." Jean-Claude Ellena
Le Jardin de Monsieur Li tells the story of a Chinese garden between reality and fantasy. A place of meditation that invites you to stroll and reflect. Every step inspires the imagination.
