THE CREATION
The fragrance Poivre Samarcande was inspired by a memory of perfumer Jean-Claude Ellena: "There was an oak tree growing in front of my house. When the tree had to be cut down, the slightly smoky scent of pepper and musk from the chopped wood remained deeply etched in my memory."
THE FRAGRANCE NOTES
The spicy, woody fragrance Poivre Samarcande reveals fiery black pepper with soothing oakmoss. A Hermessence fragrance that is suitable for both men and women.
ETHICS
Thanks to the Poivre Samarcande refill bottle, the 100 ml and 200 ml bottles can be refilled. An environmentally conscious gesture – inseparably linked to an object that was created to last.

The fragrance is named after the city of Samarkand, where all the spice caravans once stopped on their way from East to West."
