"A stately oak tree grew in front of my house, but it blocked our view of the Mediterranean Sea. The tree became diseased and had to be cut down. The slightly smoky scent of pepper and musk from the chopped wood has remained deeply etched in my memory. The oak tree lives on in this perfume with a hint of pepper.
