Encens Roi is a tribute to the resin of resins. Incense is the crossroads
of peoples, the intersection of civilizations that time, language, and war
have long separated. Drawing on the historical and legendary aspects
of this mother resin, Encens Roi begins with the raw material and develops
into an allegory that combines the incomparable clarity of olibanum with the
addictive creaminess of white cocoa, embraced by an
ascetic and regal frame of oud and saffron.
