DOROTHEE SCHUMACHER's career began with an apprenticeship in Duesseldorf and an internship in Italy. She also drew inspiration from France and launched her SCHUMACHER label in 1989. Her first creations were high quality tops, which were gradually followed by other clothing and eventually bags, belts, shoes and jewelry were added to her creations. A few years after the foundation she expanded to Italy. Today, her fashion is in demand worldwide and is sold in major fashion houses in Dubai, New York and Tokyo, among others.
