INFLORESCENCE by BYREDO celebrates the beginning of spring and the powerful rebirth of nature. The fragrance captures the power and beauty of flowers in a wild garden, precisely at the moment they reach their dramatic peak.
Ben Gorham (founder and Creative Director of BYREDO) takes us on an idyllic stroll through wild garden arbors filled with blooming, sprawling roses, interspersed with the intoxicating, honey-sweet notes of freesias in their prime. Two of the very first spring flowers take center stage: the creamy-soft allure of the magnolia blossom, its petals fully open, and the of the valley, trembling in the flowerbeds—in the language of flowers, symbolic of the “return of happiness” and the joys associated with the onset of spring. Finally, and most unusually, Ben has used jasmine as a base note—once again luxurious and overgrown, a veritable tumult of fresh grace that supports the structure and delivers an intoxicating finish.
