In 2009, Jean-Claude Ellena gave Terre d’Hermès a new intensity and created Terre d’Hermès Parfum.

THE FRAGRANCE NOTES
The Terre d’Hermès Parfum fragrance, with its warm, woody accents, combines enveloping cedar and tangy grapefruit with a lively, fresh shiso note.

THE OBJECT
The underside features an H in a brighter orange—matching the stronger color of the perfume—which symbolizes its anchoring in the earth. At the top, the light is reflected by the metal on the shoulders of the bottle.

THE HERMÈS DETAIL
Upon closer inspection, the Terre d'Hermès Parfum bottle reveals numerous details, such as the iconic "Clou de selle" saddle nail and the sliding cap that releases the spray button, etc. Created by designer Philippe Mouquet, it is modeled on a travel toiletries bag kept at the Émile Hermès Museum.
