The Kirman rug is a harmonious blend of past and present, of classic deconstruction and contemporary artistic expression. Inspired by an old design by Louis de Poortere, this rug lends a worn and nostalgic touch. The motif is stylized with a flame-like yarn that gives the design texture and a subtly ephemeral appearance, like a memory slowly fading away. This technique lends the rug a captivating, artistic aesthetic.
