Daily flossing is an important part of oral hygiene because it removes plaque and food debris from places that a toothbrush cannot reach: the narrow spaces between teeth. Here's how to do it correctly:

1. Prepare the dental floss
   Cut off about 50 cm of dental floss and loosely wrap the ends around the middle fingers of both hands. There should be a taut section of about 2–3 cm between your fingers.
2. Insert gently
   Carefully insert the dental floss between two teeth. Avoid jerky movements so as not to injure the gums.
3. Clean the tooth surface
   Place the floss around the tooth in a "C" shape and move it up and down with light pressure—first on one side, then on the opposite side of the tooth.
4. Use a fresh section for each tooth
   After each tooth, unroll a fresh section of floss to avoid transferring bacteria.
5. Don't forget: back teeth!
   Even the back teeth in your mouth need care! Take your time to clean them thoroughly.

Tip:
It is best to use it in the evening before brushing your teeth, as this allows the toothpaste to penetrate the cleaned spaces afterwards.
