Neroli is an essential oil obtained from the flower buds of the bitter orange tree using the ancient process of steam distillation. The strongly scented flower buds are harvested in North Africa from March to April and have a citrus and floral note. Named after a 17th-century princess from Nerola in Italy, neroli oil has a light yet powerful aroma that is full of life.
