These sunglasses meet the applicable essential health and safety requirements set out in EU Regulation 2016/425 and statutory requirement Regulation 2016/425 on personal protective equipment as brought into UK law and amended as it applies in GB, and comply with the harmonised / designated standards ISO 12312-1:2022 LIMITATIONS ON USE • not suitable for direct viewing of the sun or of solar eclipses. • not suitable for protection from artificial light sources (e.g. in a solarium). • not suitable for protecting the eyes from the risks of mechanical impacts (in the event of such an impact, the sunglasses themselves may break, causing injuries to the face and eyes). • not suitable for driving at night or in conditions of dull light. • if the sunglasses are fitted with photochromic filters, these are activated by temperature and light conditions.
