important safety instructions Safety precautions Before attempting to use this ghd hairdryer for the safety of both yourself and others, please read the safety precautions set out below carefully and follow them, without exception, at all times when using your ghd hairdryer. CAUTION: Your hairdryer is a high performance, professional product and the nozzles get hot in use. DO NOT place on a heat sensitive surface. Allow to cool before touching. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved, by a person responsible for their safety. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision. When the hairdryer is used in a bathroom, unplug it after use since the proximity of water presents a hazard even when the hairdryer is switched off. For additional protection, the installation of a residual current device (RCD) with an operating current not exceeding 30mA is advisable when using this product. Please contact an electrician for further details. CAUTION: Never use the ghd hairdryer with wet hands, in, or near water or near baths, basins or other receptacles containing water (or any other liquid). Always inspect your ghd hairdryer before use, and do not use it if it is damaged. If the power cord or plug is damaged it must be replaced by Jemella Ltd.
